When it comes to your pets, loyalty goes both ways. As pet owners and animal lovers ourselves, we know that ya’ll are showing them love and loyalty every day, in ways both big and small. So, why should it be any different when you choose a place for their boarding and care? As a family owned and operated business, we run on loyalty, and this is a practice that extends to our dedicated care of your animals. We don’t just board them for human convenience; we pay attention to their individual needs. Whether your pet is anxious or happy-go-lucky, you can rest easy knowing your pets will be “right at home” throughout their entire stay. Our entire staff is certified in Pet CPR and First Aid through the PetSaver course by PetTech. We live on the property, and therefore, can insure added safety and security. Meow, Bark and Board is located in Huger (HU-gee), near Mount Pleasant, Daniel Island and Charleston. Call 843-928-3355 to schedule a tour today!

becky Fort | Kennel manager
Becky moved to the Lowcountry in 2004 from "the great state of Minnesota" where she attended the University of Minnesota, Mankota. Moving here not only helped her escape the frigid midwest winters, but, more importantly, it allowed her to begin her career in the pet care industry. She has been working in this industry since 2005 and now cannot imagine doing anything else. Becky joined our team in December 2017 and recently completed her PetSaver training in Pet CRP and First Aid through PetTech! We couldn't be more thrilled to have Becky as a member of out team!
"Having three dogs of my own and being one of those 'crazy pet parents' myself, I feel privileged having others trust me to care for their pets." -Becky
Our entire team is Pet CPR and First Aid trained!
You can be sure your pet is in the best care possible when they stay with us! If an emergency were to arise, our staff members are trained and skilled in performing CPR, Rescue Breathing, First Aid and the Snout-to-Tail Assessment by PetTech.
"Meow Bark and Board is definitely the best kennel in Charleston! The staff made me and my dogs feel so comfortable and I know my dogs are in good hands with them. My pets definitely didn't want to come home because of their lead chase in the play yard. I recommend this kennel to everyone I know."

"I can't tell you how thankful and grateful I am to you. Your training and hands on observation recognized what was happening with my dog post-surgery and allowed us to contact his vet. Thankfully, due to your expertise, we identified his health problem and solved it. Your quick actions with him more than likely saved his life."
